Eric’s last corporate position was the President of China for a US life-style company based in Shanghai with P&L accountability as well as business turn-around and business development focus.
Eric’s well-rounded general management competencies and business acumen were developed out of his 6 years of solid experience in GE in which he worked for different GE businesses based in Toronto and in different functions including sales and account management, marketing, business development, customer service and operations. He was also given the opportunity to be the internal consultant for a strategy project based in Bangalore. After GE Eric became the Asia Pacific Business Development Director of a US MNC in which he was accountable for strategic planning as well as M&A. He also championed strategic projects in Malaysia, South Korea and Taiwan and was also the acting Country General Manager for Japan based in Tokyo.
Eric’s communication and language capabilities have also made him a highly effective and successful trainer and lecturer. In addition to Cantonese, he is at native level in his English and Putonghua, and is fully conversational in Shanghai dialect. Eric also possesses strong work ethic, professionalism and integrity.
